This policy explains what information vendX collects from creators and their buyers, and how we use it. By using vendX, you agree to the collection and use of information described here.
When you create a vendX store, we collect your name, email address, bank account details (for payouts), and the products you upload. When someone buys from your store, we collect their email address and payment reference so we can deliver the file and confirm the transaction.
We use your information to run your store: processing payments through Paystack, delivering files to buyers, showing you analytics, and paying out your earnings. We use buyer emails only to send the purchased file and receipt — never for marketing without consent.
vendX never stores card numbers or bank credentials directly. All payments are processed by Paystack, which is PCI-DSS compliant. We only receive a confirmation of payment and a reference ID.
We don't sell your data. We share the minimum necessary information with Paystack (to process payments) and with buyers (a delivery link for what they purchased). We may disclose information if required by law.
We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet accounting and legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account data at any time.
You can access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data by contacting us. Buyers can request the same for the limited data we hold about their purchase.
